My prenatal breastfeeding consult is designed to help you feel informed, prepared, and confident before your baby arrives.

During this visit, we’ll talk through how breastfeeding works in the early days, what normal really looks like, and how to set yourself up for the best possible start. We’ll cover topics like baby's first latch, positioning techniques, milk supply basics, infant feeding cues, and common early challenges — with plenty of time for your questions and concerns. If you have specific considerations (previous feeding experiences, planned inductions or cesarean births, multiples, induced lactation, or medical factors), we’ll tailor the session to you.

You’ll leave with practical, evidence-based guidance and a clear plan for the first days and weeks after birth — not just information, but reassurance and realistic expectations from an IBCLC.
